POSITION: QC Inspector
DEPARTMENT: Quality Control Dept
Positions available for day shift and 2nd shift.
Day shift: 7:30am - 4:15pm 2nd Shift: 4pm - 12:30am
DUTIES:
- Incoming inspection, line Inspection, operator audits
- Audit for proper line start up:ie, correct components, fragrance load, job bag, spec sheets, confirm counts when necessary
- Document inspection data- weights, defects, batch etc
- Verify adherence to job specs. Interact with supvr, operators and mechanics to assure quality is maintained.
- Verify label proof accuracy and placement, Assure proper pack out of material, Manage label inventory.
- Additional duties as required by QC Supvr./Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
Min 2 years inspection experience in similar industries- printing, cosmetic packaging, fragranced products.
Candidate must have excellent verbal/written English or bi lingual communication skills, ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) ability to count and use measuring devices such as rulers and scales, work in fast paced environment, use problem solving skills to make logical decisions, strong organizational and prioritizing skills, some computer literacy, ability perform heavy lifting, be able to stand & walk for long periods of time.
